If you are unsure of which layout you would like to try, the Celtic Cross is always a good start for those with a specific question as it tends to focus on one important subject and the energies that are affecting it. It gives an explanation of how the situation began, where you hope for it to go, what energies are coming into play and how those important to the situation are affecting it. The final card represents the outcome of the current situation.
In order to use this style of reading, a card is chosen based on certain physical qualities to represent the querent. Eye, hair and skin colour as well as age are used to determine your querent card. The rest of the cards are laid out in a specific order and read accordingly.
I have to add a bit of a warning here, I have mentioned it before but will say it once again, no matter the spread, the cards will rarely answer superficial type questions especially those asked to cover something that is actively being denied or repressed. I think it is because the energy that is put into hiding it is so present...anyway, the cards don't usually drag all the skeletons out, just the ones that really seem to need attention or should I say are receiving negative attention.
A "typical" reading can last anywhere from twenty minutes to forty-five minutes and outcomes are usually just new starting positions with new questions.
Sigh, such is life, ever unfolding...Thankfully.
Talk to you soon!
